D’Amato Leaves Hospital And Heads To Diner

With cardiologists giving his arteries an all-clear sign, U.S. Sen. Alfonse D’Amato, R-N.Y., walked out of the hospital here Wednesday morning and headed straight to the nearest diner.

“I feel great. It’s a relief to know the worst is not around the corner,” said D’Amato.
