America3’s Mighty Mary got its sea legs back in time to end Dennis Conner’s three-race winning streak and forge another three-way tie in the America’s Cup defender finals.

Mighty Mary, which had lost two straight races, took the lead early and survived a close encounter near the first mark to beat Conner’s Stars & Stripes by 41 seconds.

Halfway through the 12-race, roundrobin series, Mighty Mary, Stars & Stripes and Young America have three points apiece. If the finals end in a three-way tie, Young America and Mighty Mary will have a one-race sailoff.
