Alaska Air, Union Reach Tentative Deal

Alaska Airlines and the union representing its clerical, office and passenger-service workers have reached a tentative agreement on an amended four-year contract.

The agreement reached Monday came less than a week after the National Mediation Board imposed a 30-day cooling-off period because of a stalemate.

Voting on the proposed contract will begin in the next few weeks.
