Nebraska Men Lead Way
Richard Grace won the all-around title, and overlooked freshman Lev Schieber provided defending champion Nebraska with a much-needed spark.
The freshman hit a career-best 9.6 as the first man up in the first event as Nebraska was the top qualifier at the 53rd annual NCAA men’s gymnastics championships at Ohio State.
Nebraska will be joined in tonight’s team competition by Stanford and Penn State. Nebraska had 230.425 points to 230.075 for Stanford and 228.900 by Penn State. points. Champions in each of the six individual events will be decided on Saturday.
