Judy Schultz Recognized By Girl Scouts Of Usa
Judy Schultz, a Girl Scout volunteer from Clarkston, Wash., has been nationally recognized by Girl Scouts of the USA as a Girl Scout Instructor-of-Trainers. To accomplish this, Schultz completed a three-stage certification process designed to ensure high-quality training for Girl Scout volunteers nationwide. She will train selected volunteers who will in turn train Girl Scout leaders throughout the area.
Winners of the 1995 annual speech contest sponsored by Spokane Communicators, the local chapter of International Training in Communication, were recently selected.
They are: Jane McKay, first place; Susan Douglas, second place; and Pat Pickette, third place. McKay will compete with club winners from Idaho and Canada at an ITC Council meeting on Saturday at Mukogawa Fort Wright Commons.
Winners of the 1995 Bonner and Boundary County School Districts Spelling Bee were recently announced. They are:
