Workshop Offers Ideas For Single Parents

An all-day workshop for single parents will be held Saturday at the Children’s Home Society of Washington, 4315 S. Scott, Spokane.

The workshop will focus on needs of single-parent families. Topics will include conflict resolution, communication skills, trust building and discipline.

The workshop is part of the Parent Development Program, a project of the Children’s Home Society that offers parents new ideas for dealing with their daily responsibilities better.

The workshop costs $50 per person and includes lunch. Advance registration is required; call 747-4174 or (800) 456-3339.
