Police Charge Men With Using Bb Gun In Robbery Of Couple
Two men accused of using a BB pistol to rob a couple in north Spokane were arrested Thursday.
The couple, whose identities were not released, flagged down a Spokane police officer near Francis and Nevada shortly after midnight Thursday. They said two men had robbed them at gunpoint.
Police who searched the area found two men who fit the descriptions given by the victims, who later identified the men as the robbers.
One of the men, Anton Ross, 21, was carrying three throwing knives, said police spokesman Dick Cottam. Officers also found a black ski mask and BB pistol nearby, Cottam said.
Ross, of 1412 W. 12th, and Robert L. Jackson, 19, of 8821 N. Hill-n-Dale, were booked into the Spokane County Jail on charges of first-degree robbery.
