While Dan Marino did not complete a pass in 1-1/2 quarters, Jeff George threw for a touchdown and set up a field goal as the Atlanta Falcons routed the visiting Miami Dolphins 37-0 in an exhibition game Friday night.

Giants 14, Saints 13

Stan White threw a 39-yard touchdown pass to Gary Harrell with 5:12 to play, leading New York over New Orleans in East Rutherford, N.J. The win might have been very costly, with starting center Brian Williams and left guard Scott Davis going out with injuries.

Buccaneers 31, Bengals 7

Trent Dilfer threw a pair of long touchdown passes against Cincinnati’s bumbling defense and ran Tampa Bay’s no-huddle offense expertly for the win at Cincinnati.

Cardinals 22, Chiefs 17

Garrison Hearst rushed for 49 yards in the first quarter, helping Arizona to a 10-0 lead and a win over Kansas City at Tempe, Ariz.
