Rae Elizabeth Gendron recently became the bride of Mathew Michael Best in a ceremony at Oak Alley Plantation, Vacherie, La.

The bride is the daughter of Joseph Ray and Claire Gendron, Baton Rouge, La. Gregory and Shirley Best, Newport, Wash., are the parents of the groom.

A reception at the plantation followed the ceremony. The Bests are living in Seattle after a honeymoon in Key West, Fla.
