Boise State Loses Punter
Boise State University’s football team is looking for a punter after learning that Jeff Miles has failed to meet NCAA academic requirements.
The junior college transfer from Arizona Western did not complete enough classes in his social science/public affairs major during the spring semester.
Miles, a junior from Baytown, Texas, was the Broncos’ only punter. He was an all-conference performer last fall at Arizona Western, finishing with a 42.5-yards-per-punt average.
