Liquor Licenses

Lewis Bros. Inc., has applied for a license to sell wine for on-premises consumption in conjunction with food sales at Badger Lake Resort, 33801 S. Badger Lake Road, Cheney. This license would be added to the current license to sell bottled beer for on-premises consumption in conjunction with food sales and for off-premises consumption.

Joseph and Annemarie Eickstadt have been approved for a transfer license to sell beer and wine for off-premises consumption at Monroe Street Market, 926 S. Monroe.

Chun Hing Tang received a five-day suspension of liquor-license privileges to sell spirituous liquor, beer and wine for on-premises consumption in conjunction with food sales at Marco Polo Chinese Restaurant, 830 E. Sprague. The suspension ended Aug. 2. The licensee, or an employee, was accused of failing to submit a report of liquor and food operations for the period ending Dec. 31, 1994.

Jerald Klinkenberg has been approved for a license to sell beer and wine for off-premises consumption at Williams Lake Resort, 18617 W. Williams Lake Road, Cheney.

Paksco Co. has applied for a transfer license to sell beer and wine for off-premises consumption at Paksco, 13659 W. Sunset Highway, Airway Heights. The license is currently held by Flying J. Inc., doing business as Flying J. Grocery.

Thrifty Payless Inc. has applied to assume a licenses to sell beer and wine for off-premises consumption at the Payless Drug Stores at 810 E. 29th and 2929 E. 29th. The licenses currently are held by Pay Less Drug Stores Northwest Inc., doing business, respectively, as Payless Drug Store 2087 and Payless Drug Store 2089.
