Blues’ Fuhr Racks Up 300th Career Victory

Grant Fuhr became the 11th goaltender in NHL history to reach the 300-victory plateau as the St. Louis Blues scored four goals in the third period to beat the Winnipeg Jets 4-1 Thursday night at Winnipeg, Manitoba.
Fuhr was only tested 19 times in reaching the historic victory level as the Blues outshot the Jets 39-19. Fuhr, the only NHL goaltender to play every game for his team this season, improved his career record to 300-207-7-4 to rank behind Turk Broda (302) in victories.
The NHL’s all-time victory leader among goaltenders is Terry Sawchuk with 447.

The Islanders all but blew a 4-0 lead in the third period before Clark scored his second goal of the night to clinch the game.
