Herman Riding Tall At Nfr

Bareback rider Wayne Herman, the 1992 world champion bareback rider from Dickinson, N.D., won his second round in three nights at the National Finals Rodeo when he scored 80 points on Harper and Morgan Rodeo Co.’s Satan’s Skoal. Herman, 31, earned $11,035 on the ride.

The seventh-round victory puts Herman’s season earnings at $90,201, about $17,000 behind standings leader and 1991 world titlist Clint Corey of Kennewick, Wash.
