Rex and Claire Boozer, Valleyford, recently celebrated their 50th anniversary with a surprise party and dinner at the China Best restaurant.

Their children and spouses are: Gary and Tonya Boozer, Portland; and Kay and Danny Kirkland, Valleyford.

Married Dec. 20, 1945, in Spokane, the Boozers have four grandchildren.
