Nationals Defeats Purdue

Ruthie Bolton scored 19 points in pacing the U.S. National team to a 90-50 rout of No. 13 Purdue, the national’s 15th consecutive victory in its exhibition tour.

Katrina McClain added 15 points and Lisa Leslie had 14 points and nine rebounds for the national, which rolled to a 60-20 halftime lead and coasted thereafter. Purdue is the 11th ranked team to fall to the national team, which has five games left on its tour.

The national team will represent the United States in the Olympics at Atlanta next summer.
