Motel Brawl Victim’s Condition Improves
The condition of a man who was shot three times in a motel brawl Friday night has improved to good condition, a Kootenai Medical Center spokesman said Monday.
Mark M. Harmon, 27, was shot in the abdomen, elbow, and foot, according to a Coeur d’Alene police report. Harmon’s thigh apparently was grazed by another bullet.
A Silver Lake Motel clerk, Brian S. Golden, is being held on attempted murder charges in connection with that shooting. Golden allegedly went to a motel room where Harmon and others were having a party and attempted to break up a fight, police reports say.
Witnesses told police Golden first used Mace or pepper spray to try to break up the brawl. Golden and Harmon ended up on the ground, the police report said.
There were three gunshots. Harmon got up and ran from Golden, the report said. Golden then allegedly fired five more shots at Harmon. , DataTimes
