Phil Rafter’s three-point play with 5 seconds left Tuesday punctuated Liberty’s improbable comeback in a 70-68 Bi-County League win over visiting Sprague-Harrington.

Liberty (4-0, 6-1) trailed 56-39 entering the fourth quarter. Rafter had a pair of 3-pointers to fuel the comeback, then was fouled on a putback basket and made the free throw for the final points.

Jordan Rafter had eight assists and Travis Greenwalt scored 20 for Liberty. Chuck Carper of S-H scored 20.
