A total of 13 air quality complaints were reported to the Spokane County Air Pollution Control Authority between Dec. 18 and Dec. 22.
The most common complaint, odor or smoke from a solid-fuel burning device, such as a wood stove of fireplace, was reported four times.

Open fire was reported at 11001 N. Newport Highway at 11:50 a.m.

Dust from tracking was reported at Palouse Highway and north of Willow Springs at 11:46 a.m.
