Airport Assured Of Another Record

Passenger traffic through November at Spokane International Airport exceeds records set for passenger volume in all of 1994.

For this year through November, 2.7 million passengers have traveled through Spokane International Airport, an 11 percent increase over the first 11 months of 1994. The year-end total last year was 2.69 million.

For the month of November, the airport handled 252,000 passengers, a 10.3 percent increase over November 1994’s 228,000.

Spokane International’s air cargo, both freight and mail, shows a 2.4 percent increase over November 1994. For the first 11 months of the year, freight activity has increased 8 percent over the same period in 1994.

Felts Field’s freight activity dropped 28 percent this past November compared with November a year ago, but freight activity for the first 11 months of the year is up 2.6 percent over the same period last year.
