Snowmobiling
Warm, wet weather has wreaked havoc on most south tri-counties trails. Some areas are still ridable in the higher elevations but mud, ice, fallen trees and possible avalanche conditions have prevented any grooming from taking place this week. Info: 456-5786.
Excellent conditions are reported from the Methow Valley. Fresh snow and extensive grooming this week on the Loop Loop, Gambel Mill, Peacock Meadows, Starvation Mountain, Bonaparte Lake and Twisp trails should provide plenty of good riding opportunities.
350 miles of trails around Priest Lake were groomed this week and reportedly in good condition.
