Bandit Hits Bank

From Staff And Wire Reports

A man with a gun robbed a Spokane bank Friday afternoon, police said.

The robber walked into the US Bank, W102 Indiana, at 4:35 p.m., Spokane Police Sgt. Larry Adams said.

He handed a brown paper bag to a clerk, pointed a handgun at her and ordered the woman to fill the sack with cash, Adams said.

After she did, the bandit fled. Adams wouldn’t say how much money the robber stole.

The robber is described as a brown-haired, white man in his late 20s, about 5 feet 9 inches and 130 pounds.

The FBI is investigating the robbery.
