Steven McCarver Spokane

Memorial service for Steven G. McCarver, 22, will be at 10 a.m. today at Riplinger Funeral Home. Cremation preceded the service.

Mr. McCarver, a lifetime Spokane resident, died Friday after a lengthy illness.

He graduated from Rogers High School and worked as an aircraft mechanic.

Mr. McCarver was a member of the Civil Air Patrol.

Survivors include a son, Nicholas Richard Brown-McCarver of Spokane; his mother, Donna McCarver of Spokane; and a brother, Douglas McCarver of Spokane.

Lois Fieser Fairfield

Service for Lois Fieser, 81, was held Sunday at the Fairfield Presbyterian Church followed by burial at the Rosewood Cemetery. Schanzenbach Funeral Home in Fairfield was in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Fieser, a lifetime Fairfield area resident, died Thursday.

She was a member of the Fairfield Presbyterian Church, the Triangle Grange and the Home Improvement Club.

Survivors include a sister, Marjorie Felgenhauer of Fairfield; and nine nieces and nephews.

Memorial gifts may be made to the Fairfield Presbyterian Church or to the Fairfield Good Samaritan Center.

Bernice `Bebe’ Tindall Spokane

Service for Bernice L. “Bebe” Tindall, 89, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Fairmount Memorial Park. Riplinger Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mrs. Tindall died Jan. 30. Born in Montana, she moved to Spokane 56 years ago.

She was a homemaker.

Survivors include many nieces and nephews.

Esther Alexander Spokane

Vigil service for Esther M. Alexander, 80, was held Sunday at Hennessey-Smith Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. today at St. Mary Catholic Church followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Mrs. Alexander died Thursday. Born in Orient, Wash., she graduated from Orient High School.

She moved to Spokane in 1942 and was a homemaker.

Mrs. Alexander was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Her husband of 53 years, Joe Alexander, died in 1988.

Survivors include three sons, Rudy Alexander of Spokane, Jerry Alexander of Greenacres and Allan Alexander of Veradale; a daughter, Marlene Berger of Bellevue, Wash.; a brother, Lee Veltrie of Spokane; four sisters, Zelia Spinnell and Venita Picicci, both of Spokane, Marguerite Chementi of California, and Phyllis Hills; 13 grandchildren and 15 greatgrandchildren.
