Satus Pass Highway Reopened

U.S. Highway 97 was reopened over Satus Pass as floodwaters receded along Toppenish Creek south of this Yakima Valley town.

Clarissa Lundeen of the state Tranportation Department said traffic was limited Saturday to one way and one lane at the bridge over the creek because some of the road was under water.

The road between Toppenish and Goldendale was closed Friday.
