Jasmine Meredith Crowned 1995 Washington Jr. Miss
Jasmine Meredith of Moses Lake was recently crowned the 1995 Washington Junior Miss and presented with a $2,500 scholarship.
Meredith was also given a Fitness Award, a Presence and Composure Award, a Creative and Performing Arts Award, a Scholastic Achievement Award and a Judges’ Interview Award.
Contestants were evaluated in those five areas.
Several other Inland Northwest high school students also won awards during the competition at Washington State University’s Beasley Performing Arts Coliseum.

Creative and Performing Arts: Trisha Wellsandt, Ritzville, Wash., who was also named fourth runnerup for state title; Casey Range, Quincy, Wash.; and Stefanie Steiner, Pullman.
Presence and Composure: Melissa Schutte.
Spirit Award: Christine Lentz, Deer Park.
Scholastic Achievement Award: Kathy Kleinbach, Connell/North Franklin, Wash.
