Suspect Apprehended In Armed Robbery

A 35-year-old Spokane man was arrested Saturday in connection with the armed robbery of a convenience store Friday.

Jeffrey C. Tipton, N7320 Crestline, was arrested at 5:30 p.m. Saturday after sheriff’s deputies searched his home.

They found a firearm and other evidence, according to the Sheriff’s Department.

The Zip-Trip at Hawthorne and U.S. Highway 2 was robbed Friday at 2:20 a.m.
