Weber State Tandem Helps Rip Isu, 89-73

Jimmy DeGraffenried scored 24 points and Ruben Nembhard had 20 as Weber State routed Idaho State 89-73 Thursday night in Ogden, Utah.
Weber (8-2 Big Sky, 15-7 overall) leads the conference, with Idaho State (7-3, 16-5) in second place.
DeGraffenried and Nembhard each scored 12 points as Weber took a 43-31 halftime lead.
At the 11:04 mark, with Weber leading 58-47, ISU coach Herb Williams was called for a technical. DeGraffenried hit the two free throws and Lewis Lofton followed with a 3-pointer to give the Wildcats a 63-47 edge.

In San Francisco, Mike Brovelli’s short jumper with 24 seconds left and Gerald Walker’s 26 points helped the Dons (3-8, 9-16) beat the Waves (3-8, 7-16).
San Francisco sent the game into overtime tied at 79 when Walker intentionally missed the second of two free throws, got his own rebound and fed Art Wallace for a dunk with 2 seconds remaining.
Wallace scored 24 points and grabbed 12 rebounds, scoring nine straight Dons points during a second-half comeback that erased USF’s 45-40 halftime deficit.
