Mystery Show Host Found Murdered

The host of a television murder mystery show died on the street outside his home after being repeatedly stabbed in the heart.

Richard Niquette, 44, died Sunday, police said. They said robbery was a possible motive.

Niquette, an actor, appeared in several popular French-language TV shows in Quebec including a highly rated hockey soap opera.

His last job was as host of “Murder and Mystery” on an interactive TV channel. Viewers were invited to help solve a fictional murder.
