Doughnut Chain Clears Smoke
To some, it’s a little taste of heaven - a coffee, a doughnut and a cigarette. Now, Dunkin’ Donuts wants to take away one of this time-honored triad.
The world’s largest chain of coffee and doughnut shops announced plans Thursday to ban smoking in its 3,000 franchises nationwide.
More than half of the franchises are already smoke-free. The others, stretching from Massachusetts to Oregon, have until June 1 to get with the program.
