Here is a look at action Thursday in the Washington Legislature:

GOVERNOR: No major action.

SENATE: No major action.

HOUSE: The Education Committee approved and sent to the full House HB1244, which would require students who bring firearms to school be expelled for one year.

Bills introduced:

HB2000, to establish a King County admission tax, a tax on car rentals and a new lottery game to finance construction of a baseball stadium for the Seattle Mariners.

HB2949, to authorize an 11th judge for the Spokane County Superior Court.
