Seattle Bowler Wins First Jewel

Scott Alexander captured the first event in bowling’s Triple Crown, defeating red-hot Wayne Webb to win his first career title in the Chevrolet National Championship.

Alexander, of Seattle, made his first appearance as tournament leader a memorable one as he bested Webb, 246-210, to earn $35,000, a 1995 Chevrolet Lumina and a three-year exemption into the Brunswick World Tournament of Champions.
