At a glance

Chiefs drew a quick breath from an incredible weekend then hopped back on the bus to Kennewick for their fourth game in five nights. Spokane’s Friday night win at Kamloops and a tie with the Blazers the next night in the Coliseum were two of the more entertaining games of any season. Chiefs are close to full strength with center Jared Hope back from the Canada Winter Games in Grand Prairie, Alberta. Americans enjoyed strong goaltending in a 2-1-1 swing through the WHL East. Brian Boucher blanked the Red Deer Rebels and David Trofimenkoff shut out the Lethbridge Hurricanes on Sunday night. Both clubs have played well of late. Tri-City is 12-2-2 in its last 16 outings, the Chiefs 15-6-1 in their last 22.
