Fitzgerald Selected To Rules Committee

Dan Fitzgerald, Gonzaga’s men’s head basketball coach and athletic director, has been appointed to the NCAA Basketball Rules Committee.

Fitzgerald, in his 13th year as head coach, replaces former UNLV coach Rollie Massimino, who vacated his committee position after being fired as head coach of the Runnin’ Rebels.

The influential committee is chaired by former Southern California basketball coach George Raveling, who sought Fitzgerald’s appointment.
