Israeli Settlers Protest Recent Attacks
Police in downtown Jerusalem used water cannons Saturday to disperse several hundred right-wing demonstrators protesting worsening security in Israel.
The police detained 20 demonstrators when the torch-lit procession tried to block the main roads.
Many demonstrators were Jewish settlers who arrived by bus from the West Bank. They were angry about increased attacks - the latest on Friday, when Palestinian gunmen ambushed a car and killed Ofra Felix, 20, from the Jewish settlement of Alon Moreh near Nablus.
