Stayrook Is Kingpin

Jess Stayrook had his second consecutive 6-2 match play round and took over the lead from his brother-inlaw, Dave Arnold, after five rounds of the Professional Bowlers Association $240,000 AC-Delco Classic.

Stayrook began the day with a 279 game and won his first five matches to take command. The 35-year-old left-hander from Tempe, Ariz., is 12-4 in match play and has a 222 average for 34 games.
