Super Boat Party

Compiled From Wire Services

A Super Bowl cruise next week featuring gambling, a nude limbo contest, a pool full of jello, 200 naked show girls and 50 football stars has the National Football League scrambling to warn its players not to participate.

Players and others affiliated with the league who associate themselves in any promotional activity involving gambling are subject to fines and possible lifetime suspension, said NFL spokesman Greg Aiello.

“We will contact any current players who we learn may be involved in this to remind them of NFL policy regarding associating with gambling activities,” Aiello said.

Organizers of the Platinum Plus Gentleman’s Casino Cruise say 50 current and former NFL players including Jim Brown, Lawrence Taylor, Roger Craig and Terry Kirby - will attend the event, promoted by nude bar magnate Michael J. Peter.

Kirby denied Wednesday that he will attend. Brown and Taylor did not return calls. Craig could not be reached.
