NEW FACES:
Deepak Malhotra has joined the law firm of Wells, St. John, Roberts, Gregory & Matkin. Malhotra was recently at Michael, Best, & Friedrich in Milwaukee. Malhotra received a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1986 and a law degree from Marquette University in 1993. He will practice exclusively in intellectual property law.
Debra LeVey has been hired as Coeur d’Alene Convalescent Center’s director of nursing services. LeVey has a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Baylor University and has more than 18 years of experience as a registered nurse with 10 years serving as a director of nursing.
Dr. David Vanos has joined the Holy Family Hospital medical staff. Vanos received his medical degree from Creighton University in 1985 with a specialty in anesthesiology. Until recently, he served with the United States Air Force.

Dr. Arnold Wexler has joined Deaconess Medical Center in the practice of occupational medicine. Wexler graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1967, completed an internship at Good Samaritan Hospital in 1968 and a residency at the University of California-San Francisco in 1982.
Dr. Daniel Randolph has joined Northpoint Family Medicine in the practice of family medicine. He graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1991 and completed his internship and residency at Phoenix Baptist in 1994.
Dr. Stephen Luber has joined Rockwood Clinic in the practice of pediatrics/allergy. Luber graduated from the University of California-San Francisco in 1975. He completed an internship and residency at Moffit Hospital in 1977 and a fellowship at the Childrens Hospital in Oakland in 1978.
Dr. Michael Hostetler has joined Rockwood Clinic in the practice of internal medicine/cardiology. Hostetler graduated from Indiana University in 1974 and completed an internship and residency at Mayo Clinic in 1977.
Dr. Carol Hathaway has set up a solo practice in general and plastic surgery. Hathaway graduated from the University of Hawaii in 1984, completed her internship at the University of Florida in 1990 and a residency at the University of Washington in 1994.
Dr. Andrea Dominey has joined the Rockwood Clinic in the practice of dermatology. Dominey graduated from Baylor College of Medicine in 1985 and completed her internship and residency at Baylor Affiliated Hospitals in 1989.
Dr. Vera Cheng has joined Anesthesiology Inc., P.S. in the practice of anesthesiology. Cheng graduated from the University of Maryland in 1990 and completed an internship and residency at the University if Washington in 1994.
Dr. Harold Bailey has joined Rockwood Clinic in the practice of family medicine. Bailey graduated from Loma Linda University in 1991 and completed an internship and residency at Florida Hospital in 1994.
Dr. William Pochis has joined the Spokane Heart Clinic in the practice of internal medicine/cardiology. Pochis graduated from the University of Illinois in 1984 and completed an internship and residency at Evanston Hospital in 1987.
Dr. Thomas Witt has joined Rockwood Clinic in the practice of family medicine. Witt graduated from the University of Minnesota in 1981 and completed an internship and residency at St. Alexis Hospital in 1984.
Randy Long has joined Johnson Matthey Electronics as human resource manager. Long has more than 22 years of experience in human resource management and training development, including 14 years with ORYX Energy Co., in Texas. Long holds a master’s degree in human relations and business from Abilene Christian University and a bachelor’s degree in industrial and personnel management from Southern Methodist University, Dallas.
Daniel DeRuyter has joined the firm of Douglas, Eden, & Phillips P.S. as principal. The firm has changed its name to Douglas, Eden, Phillips & DeRuyter P.S.
MOVING UP:
J.R. Newhouse & Co. has admitted Yonne Smith as partner. Smith, a CPA, graduated from Central Washington University with a bachelor of science degree in accounting, finance, and data processing. Smith’s duties will include providing services to individuals and business clients in: individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns, financial statements, auditing and computer consulting.

D.A. Davidson & Co. has opened a satellite office in the Spokane Valley at E14306 Sprague. Donita Skinner, vice president-investments, Jeff Taylor, vice president-investment and Lynnae Gonzales, registered assistant, will staff the office.
John Crook has opened an office of The Message On Hold Network in Spokane. The Message On Hold enables a company to communicate with callers placed on hold.
