Special Winter Outings

Spokane Parks and Recreation is offering outdoor winter trips at budget rates that often include rental equipment.

Activities beginning as early as next week include snowcat skiing in North Idaho and crosscountry ski lessons. For women only, two snowshoeing outings are scheduled, including a moonlight walk, plus a special women-only canoe paddle.

A teens-only day of nordic skiing, snowshoeing, sledding and snow shelter building is set for Jan. 30. Info: 625-6246.
