NEW FACES:

Corey F. Brock has joined Underwood, Campbell, Brock & Cerutti P.S., as an associate attorney. Brock is a recent graduate of Willamette College of Law. He will practice in the firm’s Spokane and Davenport offices.

Michael L. Vanderslice joins LeMaster & Daniels Certified Public Accountants as a director of management consulting. Vanderslice is experienced in health care, manufacturing, distribution industries and closely held businesses. He was formerly managing principal of Moss Adams Consulting in Seattle.

Barbara Besel has joined John L. Scott Real Estate. Besel has six years of Spokane-area real estate sales experience, with particular knowledge of North Side opportunities. She has received frequent recognition for top listings and sales.

Pat Kienholz has joined the staff of the Girl Scouts Inland Empire Council as office manager and executive secretary. Marie Okamoto is the bookkeeper and Camille Harkins will be on the business support staff.

MOVING UP:

Mark Gietz has been promoted from chief engineer to vice president of operations at Programmable Control Services Inc. Gietz will be responsible for engineering, drafting and panel fabrication operations.

Carol Rodda, a Creative Memories consultant, has been designated a unit manager. Melode Hall, also a Creative Memories consultant, has been promoted to unit manager 1. Creative Memories is a national direct-sales company that teaches people how to organize and preserve their family photos through educational seminars and hands-on workshops. Rodda and Hall have been teaching workshops for 1 years and four years respectively.

Jana Worthington has been promoted to fund development director of the Girl Scouts Inland Empire Council. Worthington was cookie program manager and had been assisting the Fund Development Department.

Carol Hunt has become a membership director of the Girl Scouts organization. Hunt serves the girl and adult membership in northeast Washington and North Idaho. Hunt has been with the council 16 years and transferred from the Program Department.

Vicky Gould has become the council’s program specialist, transferring from the Membership Department. Gould has been with the council 11 years.

Carole Hotaling has become the council receptionist. Hotaling has been with the council for nine years.

Chris Griffith has been promoted to registrar in the Membership Department.

STARTING UP:

Country Homes Realty has opened an office at N8607 Division, Suite A. Partners in the new venture include Bruce Betts, Steve Foster and Chuck Maggio, who have been active in selling and leasing residential, land and commercial real estate for several years. Realtors who have joined the company include Brad Akers, Dave Cain and Julie Gallivan. Kim Pence is client coordinator.

Conway Western Express, a lessthan-truckload regional carrier, has opened an office at Geiger Field. The Buena Park, Calif.-based company is expanding into the Northwest. Rod Jeffers is the manager of the new Spokane service center.
