Aids Coalition Holding Late-Summer Lake Retreat For Second Year
The Inland Northwest AIDS Coalition (INAC) seeks donations for its late-summer retreat “Away in the Woods” on Lake Coeur d’Alene occurring Aug. 29 through Sept. 3.
Now in its second year, the retreat, funded solely by outside donations, allows men and women with HIV and AIDS, as well as their loved ones, to find a little peace of mind.
Activities during the six-day excursion include stress management and nutrition workshops, massage therapy, arts and crafts, boating and swimming.
Thirty-five people participated in the camp last year; INAC expects higher numbers this year. The cost is $60 per person, per day.
INAC is a non-profit agency; contributions are tax deductible. Send contributions to: INAC, P.O. Box 843, Spokane, WA 99210. Or call 534-7918.
