Top Seeds Fall In Finals

Third-seeded Karolyn Kirby and Liz Masakayan won their third straight Bally Total Fitness Shootout beach volleyball event, beating the top-seeded pairing of Holly McPeak and Nancy Reno.

Kirby and Masakayan broke a 5-5 tie in the championship match by scoring 10 of the final 11 points to defeat McPeak and Reno 15-6.
