Shadow Want To Get Even In Tonight’s Salem Match
When the Spokane Shadow step on the soccer field at Spokane Falls Community College tonight, they will have revenge on their mind.
That’s because their opponent, the Salem Surge, scored two goals in the final 2 minutes of their last meeting on May 19 in Salem to pull out the 5-3 win. That was after the Shadow came back from a 3-0 deficit to tie the game.
“Their a good team with a lot of South American players,” Shadow general manager Jeff Heimbigner said.
The Spokane-Salem game will be the first of the Shadow’s final three games, all at home. They’ll play the Portland Firebirds on July 15 and the Seattle Hammers on July 21.
Tonight’s game begins at 7. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for children with discounts for teams.
