Pac Shuts Down Key Bank
Newt White pitched a five-inning no-hitter Sunday as PAC trounced Key Bank 15-0 in the second game of an American Legion doubleheader at Clarkston.
PAC also captured the first game 6-1 as J.D. Burns held its Medical Lake rival to one hit.
At Chewelah, Cory Smiley’s single in the top of the seventh inning drove in the winning run as the Hillyard Boosters downed the North Stars 5-4 in the first game of a doubleheader. Hillyard also won the second game, 8-0.
At Jackson Field in Spokane, Matt Thomas went 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs to lead Scott’s Custom Homes past Pullman 13-3, Ryan Corigliano scored from second on a throwing error to lift Maxwell House past Pullman 15-14, Tim Amann had two singles and four RBIs in a 16-run second inning as Chapter 11/Longhorn Barbecue crushed JobQuest 19-5, and Pat Wise threw a two-hitter as M&L Construction downed Kimmel Athletic 14-8.

Rikki Jackson scored 19 points to lead the Spokane Stars past the Kansas Miracles 67-42 at the AAU 15-and-under Girls Nationals in Indianapolis.
