People Invited To Salmon Symposium

The public can join scientists at a June 5 symposium to explore ways of helping migrating salmon.

The University of Idaho Aquaculture Research Institute and Washington State University will co-sponsor “Saving Columbia River Salmon.” It will be held in the East Building Auditorium on WSU’s Tri-Cities campus in Richland. Registration starts at 8:30 a.m.

Topics will include hatcheries, habitat, reservoir drawdowns, barging and dam bypass systems. For registration or other information, call 208-885-5830 in Moscow, or 509-375-9206 in Richland.
