Usc Tackle Signs

Tony Boselli, a 325-pound offensive tackle from Southern Cal and the No. 2 pick in the NFL draft, signed with the Jacksonville (Fla.) Jaguars.

The expansion club also signed its other first-round choice, running back James Stewart of Tennessee. Fourth-round pick Rob Johnson, a quarterback and Boselli’s teammate at USC, also signed with the Jaguars.

Tim Mara, 59, a former co-owner of the New York Giants who sold his share of the team following a long family feud with his uncle, died Wednesday at Jupiter, Fla.
