‘Mighty Mo’ Uss Missouri Again Open For Tours
The historic battleship USS Missouri, where the Japanese surrendered to end World War II, will be on display again in Bremerton this summer for the first time since 1984.
The “Mighty Mo” is moored at the Puget Sound Naval Shipyard. It will open through Labor Day. On Sept. 2, a ceremony will be held aboard ship to mark the 50th anniversary of the end of the Pacific war.

History Live! An hour-long reenactment of the Battle of Little Big Horn will be the centerpiece of Hardin, Montana’s Little Big Horn Days, June 23-25. Based on oral and written accounts passed down by the Native American warriors who participated in the battle, the production re-creates the famous battle and describes the historical context.
