Lake Roosevelt Ferry Will Go Into Drydock

From Staff And Wire Reports

The free ferry on Lake Roosevelt will be out of service for four days starting June 19.

The “Martha S.” ferry will be drydocked for a routine Coast Guard inspection and to have its hull painted. It is to be put back in service on Friday, June 23.

The ferry connects Keller, on the Colville Indian Reservation, with the Lincoln County town of Wilbur, 14 miles south of Lake Roosevelt on state Highway 21. Motorists will have to detour to Coulee Dam, where there is a bridge.
