Tribe Plans Casino In Coulee Dam
The Colville Confederated Tribes’ business organization plans to open a new casino in a downtown building next month.
Renovation work has begun on the tribal-owned Whitehall Building in anticipation of the opening, Clay Antioquia, president and chief executive officer of the Colville Tribal Enterprise Corp., said Thursday. The building is on tribal trust land.
A draft agreement says the casino will employ about 100 people and initially operate Wednesdays through Sundays.
