We Want You To Log-In Your Logging Stories
Part of what makes North Idaho and Eastern Washington distinct as a region is the vast stretch of timberland that blankets the area. Thousands of homes and cabins are interlaced with the forest, much of it privately owned.
With the availability of federal timber diminishing, many landowners are choosing to log their land. For an upcoming story, The SpokesmanReview is seeking stories from people who’ve seen what they consider either responsible or irresponsible logging on private land.
Please call Cityline at 458-8800 in Spokane or (208) 765-8811 in Coeur d’Alene. Punch in category 9884. You must have a touch-tone phone. Any normal long distance charges apply.
Please leave your name, day and evening phone numbers, and a brief message describing the situation. A reporter will call some of those who phone. Thank you.
