Some critics were kind, but Mia Farrow was none too thrilled with last week’s made-for-TV version of her tumultuous relationship with Woody Allen.
Fox Television’s two-part “Love and Betrayal: The Mia Farrow Story” starred Patsy Kensit (“Lethal Weapon 2”).
“I cannot remain silent in the face of Fox’s unconscionable disregard for the true facts of my life, particularly the film’s gross distortion of the Woody Allen child-abuse incident, in which the New York courts found substantial evidence to suggest the abuse did occur,” Farrow said in a statement released through her attorney.
Her publicist added that the movie, which portrayed Farrow as manipulative and hysterical, “was full of falsehoods and conjecture.”
