Group Disavows Hate Literature

Associated Press

The Montana leader of Ross Perot’s political group United We Stand America disavowed a former representative of the group Wednesday for distributing antiSemitic literature to state legislators.

“Mr. Perot would go ballistic” if he thought his group was being linked to that kind of literature, said Bud Abbott.

Kamala Webb of Bozeman, Mont., an organizer for the Militia of Montana, handed out copies of “Strength of a Hero” and “The Warrior’s Song” by Peter J. Peters to at least seven lawmakers this week.

Peters is a leader in the Christian Identity movement, which claims Northern European whites are the racial descendants of the biblical people of Israel.

Webb had served as the assistant regional representative for United We Stand but said Tuesday she has not been affiliated with the group for two years.
